Eliza Bristowe

OT 2022 - U19 England Cricketer
Old Twyfordian Eliza Bristowe is an emerging talent in English cricket and a highly regarded all-rounder within the national age-group pathway. Having progressed through the Southern Vipers Academy, Eliza earned a six-month summer contract with Hampshire following a standout season in which she scored 151 runs and claimed 13 wickets. 

Her performances have also been recognised at international level. Eliza represented England Women Under-19s in a tri-series against Sri Lanka and Australia, taking six wickets across five matches. At county level, she impressed for Berkshire in the Vitality T20 County Cup, scoring a half-century against Cornwall in the opening round. Most recently, Eliza was named in England's Under-19 squad for their 2026 winter programme.

Sophie Kelly

OT 2017 - England Netballer
Sophie Kelly has established herself as one of England's most exciting young netball talents. An attacking player known for her skill and composure on court, Sophie made her Netball Super League debut for Surrey Storm in 2021 at just 16 years old. Following two seasons with Team Bath, Sophie joined London Pulse ahead of the 2025 Netball Super League campaign. 

Her performances at domestic level have been matched by success on the international pathway, progressing through the England Roses Academy between 2019 and 2023 before being selected for the Future Roses programme for 2024-25. During her time in the England pathway, Sophie won Europe Netball gold medals at both Under 17 and Under 21 level. She was also selected for the England squad that competed at the FAST5 Netball World Series in New Zealand in 2024 and represented England Under 21 on tour in Australia in 2025.

Lucia Kendall

OT 2017 - England Footballer
Lucia Kendall has developed into one of the most promising young footballers in the country. A midfielder for Women's Super League side Aston Villa and the England national team, Lucia's rise through the game reflects years of dedication and achievement. 

Having started her football journey with Winchester City Flyers at the age of seven, Lucia progressed through Southampton FC's Regional Talent Club and academy system. She went on to make more than 100 appearances for Southampton Women, playing an important role in a highly successful period for the club, which included league titles, promotion and National League Cup success. 

In 2025, Lucia joined Aston Villa, taking the next step in her professional career at the highest level of domestic football. Alongside her footballing accomplishments, Lucia also excelled in cricket, representing Hampshire Women and earning selection to the England Women's Academy. Lucia's achievements across both sports are a remarkable testament to her talent and commitment, and we are proud to count her among our Old Twyfordians.
